Sacred vessel - Seeds

- shows life that starts out very simple and small and grows into something bigger 

- colorful to show happiness and celebrates life

- i took tissue paper and glues it to all three pieces to give it a similar look in the series and let the tissue paper bleed on the paper

- i then drew my design over the paper with the sharpie

- i took and old window pain, washed it off and then re painted the woodwork around the glass to make it have a cleaner, newer look
- i then took acrylic paint and painted my design onto the glass
- the last thing i did was take colored beads and glue them to the glass in certain areas where the design needed them

Photo Transfer Collage

Photo transfer - taking a page from a magazine and pressing it onto paper using a gel medium like substance to cause the image to stick and then altering the image using different medias to create your own artwork

- first i prepped my paper by using water color to stain it and then took the image i wanted to use and pressed it against the paper, let it dry, and scrubbed it off to get the photo to transfer to the paper
- next i used stencils and oil pastels to create a pattern and then i added more water color around the stencils
- i then painted around the photo to blend the edges so they were not as harsh and went in and added color and definition to the face in the photo with pastels
- finally i went in with more stencils and letters and pressed some designs on the page and added some acrylic paint

Multi media 

- uses different medias such as stencils, paint, and tissue paper to show different textures and design all in one project 

- used stencils and acrylic paint to create a design on top of the poured painted canvas 

- also used tissue paper and pressed that against canvas to create texture in the upper right corner and down the size
